Jessica Cedeño-Richiez, MD
Dr. Cedeño started her academic training by graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of the Sacred Heart. She then received her Doctor in Medicine degree from the University of Puerto Rico where she graduated among the top of her class and completed her Ophthalmology residency also at the University of Puerto Rico where she was honored by serving as Chief Resident during her senior year. She completed her Medical Retina fellowship at the State University of New York - SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
Involved in research, has presented posters at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) and Puerto Rico Ophthalmology Society Meeting. She has been recognized with the “Doctor’s Choice” award. She has been active in clinical care for more than 20 years.
Dr. Cedeño is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She is currently licensed in Puerto Rico.
